Humantay Lagoon Private Tour

Enjoy an unforgettable Andean day at Humantay Lake, a turquoise jewel nestled between the imposing snow-capped peaks of Salkantay and Humantay. We will pick you up between 4:30 and 5:00 a.m. from your hotel or the agreed meeting point in Cusco to begin the journey to Mollepata. In Mollepata, you will enjoy a buffet breakfast before continuing into the mountains. We will then travel by vehicle to Soraypampa, a spectacular high-mountain valley and the starting point of the hike. From Soraypampa, you will begin the ascent to Humantay Lake, located at approximately 4,200 m above sea level. The hike takes about an hour and a half; it has no technical sections, but the altitude calls for a relaxed pace, with stops to hydrate, rest, and appreciate the breathtaking Andean scenery. Upon reaching the lake, you will have time to admire the intense turquoise color of its waters, surrounded by mountains and snow-capped peaks. It will be the ideal opportunity to take photographs, enjoy the tranquility of the setting, and connect with nature before beginning the walk back down to Soraypampa. Back in Soraypampa, you will enjoy a buffet lunch with mountain views. Finally, we will begin the return journey by vehicle to Cusco, dropping you off at your hotel with memories of one of the most impressive and photogenic landscapes in the Peruvian Andes.
