1 / 23
Tour Description
Experience Lima, the “City of Kings”, on a private tour tailored to your schedule, with pick‑up from your Miraflores hotel or directly from the airport. The route begins at Love Park, where you can enjoy sweeping views of the Green Coast and the Pacific Ocean, and continues on foot through Larcomar, an open‑air shopping center built into the cliffs, perfect for soaking in the oceanfront scenery.
You will then visit the Larco Museum, an elegant colonial mansion surrounded by gardens that houses one of the most complete collections of ancient Peruvian ceramics, gold and silver work, and textiles. Its galleries offer a clear overview of the main pre‑Hispanic cultures and showcase iconic pieces in a modern, very engaging display. Afterwards, the tour heads to the district of San Isidro to cross El Olivar Park, an oasis of centuries‑old olive trees and traditional residences.
Later, we will arrive at Lima’s Historic Center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where the original City of Kings flourished during the 16th century. We will visit Plaza San Martín and then Plaza de Armas, home to Lima Cathedral and the Government Palace, key settings in the country’s viceregal and republican history.
Finally, we will visit the Convent of San Francisco or its catacombs, exploring its cloisters, religious art and famous underground ossuary. The tour concludes with your return to the hotel.
