We will pick you up from your hotel at 8 a.m. or 9 a.m. (we can also pick you up from the airport in Cusco). Our first destination will be Ollantaytambo, where we will arrive early in the morning to enjoy it peacefully, away from the crowds. Ollantaytambo is an impressive Inca city built with monumental stone blocks, where we will explore the religious sector, walk among the Temple of the Sun, the Temple of Water and the magnificent Inca terraces. Then we will enter the old urban sector to visit an authentic Inca house and discover how they lived from the inside.
From there we will head towards Pisac. Before arriving, optionally (additional fee) we can make a stop to taste chicha de jora (corn beer) in a traditional Inca bar, and then stop for lunch with a local Peruvian family or at a buffet restaurant.
After lunch, we will visit the archaeological site of Pisac, located on top of the town. Pisac is an impressive citadel with the most extensive Inca terraces in the Sacred Valley and a vibrant native community in its surroundings. Finally, we will descend to the famous traditional market of Pisac, where you will have free time to stroll, enjoy the atmosphere, shop for local crafts and try the delicious typical empanadas freshly baked in the colonial oven.
The tour ends and we will transfer you back to your hotel or drop you off wherever you wish.
